NBA players were extremely less athletic in the 90's. The money in youth sports today is a big factor, but the money in the NBA and minor league NBA and international is a bigger factor. Many coke heads in the NBA in Jordan's days. Today, that don't fly. The NBA is truly international today as teams search the globe for the best young athletes and train them for some years before they are brought on. Just watch the tape and you will see the conditioning during Jordan's playing days. Pathetic compared to today. All of your measurements are comparing Jordan's performance against his competition, so by this measure alone, the greatest player is obviously Lebron. Now, if the question is by how much is each greater than their competition in their time, the answer gets far murkier and thus why there is an argument today.

#BestVideoEver....Tried to tell'em....they tried to say Jordan had no impact on his team because when he was gone from the team the team still won as many games....I say just the opposite....Baby Bron Bron has no Standards and lasting impact on his team.....Jordan set high standards for his teammates and they stuck to it....Bron, although played hard, never set any lasting standards for his teammates and therefore they'd fall off greatly when he's gone from a team....that and the fact that he didn't have a killer instinct mentality to put in place as a Jordan or even Kobe for that matter....I could tell this from Day 1 of him entering the league....as someone growing up seeing Jordan play and then looking at this guy start....I'm like this guy....this guy....yeah right....mental is not there....not tough enough mentally to enforce fear and standards as a Mike and Kobe....Great player but personally, I'd rather see a great like Bird or any of those guys like that play....they had the mental toughness and fortitude for it....Period.

I showed this video and the actual numbers advance metrics and stats to a friend that is with the " we done with the 90s" trend and he says lebron is the goat and isnot even close and guess what excuse he had Nah mj did that on the plumbers era 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ They always gonna find an excuse to hate on mj Lebron james is advance metrics are insane too he is more % at scoring mostly of his game and physcal advantages but if you take a look of mj numbers other than rebounds and assists mj is better and by far most of the stats that favors bron are longevity stats like vorp winshares/100 etc Another thing, bron just passed mj in all time offensive rebounds last season yes the 6'9 guy that has 6 seasons more than mj just pass him on pffensive rebounds

A GOAT never says he's the GOAT (or EXPECTS to be named the GOAT)... a GOAT lets everyone else say it for him. If you really listen to MJ, he always gives props to the older generations, saying, "It's not fair to compare me to them, because we never played each other. It was a different time, a different era." Each generation has their own version of a GOAT. HOWEVER... Like him or hate him, LBJ has surpassed many people statistically, but humility is one stat he needs to learn to embrace. The craziest thing I ever heard come out of LBJ's mouth was when he said, "I'm taking my talents to Long Beach", and then promised the fans that, "we're gonna win championships !!! Not 1... not 2... not 3... not 4... not 5... not 6... not 7"... and then only won TWO, played for the team for FOUR years... and bailed on them, just like he bailed on Cleveland !!! LBJ... stop making promises you can't deliver on... you're not MJ. MIKE DROP, B!TC#E$ !!! Oh, and how many times did MJ lose in the finals... 11 (but he still has SIX RINGS) Look it up... PEACE

Nope numbers do lie. MJ did the 37 a game in an NBA era closer to the Modern Flower NBA past 10 yrs. Kobe did the 35.4 were defense choking up scorers. Hand check is nothing compared to 2 or 3 NBA players hitting, bumping, hacking your arms. Let's be real, Mike is still the GOAT but saying that the 87 scoring is the greatest? Nahhhhh! Tell the truth not just the narratives.

The comment about 50 win teams on a single metric to prove a point. Also if you say there are more 50 win teams that may lend to the fact there the good teams were feasting on the 6 expansion teams from the 90s. So less 50 win teams now may be evidence that there is more parody.

Lebron’s final losses are more than his wins and it’s not because of any other rattan himself. He insists on players and then complains about his teams. He goes through coaches for excuses. Guys like Jabbar, Kobe, West, Baylor, Oscar, Bird. Shaquille Jordan, Wilt never relied on flopping or excuses They are far greater players than LeBrick.

This is how you can break it down: LBJ needs to play with very specific tyoes of players who use a very specific style of play to win, jordan only needed competant players that were willing to play hard and he would find a way to win. Scottie was a good player but it was because of jordan that he was able to bring out every ounce of potential he had. Same thing with just about every member of those 3peat teams, they became great because they had jordan to force the absolute best out of them. Other than rodman and scottie, almost none of those players would have had the success they had on almost any other team. Id even argue that without jordan and eventually phil jackson scottie would have been a solid roleplayer but not go down in history as arguably the best second man in history and rodman would have still been great but he would have ended up pushed out of the league a lot sooner because of his off the court behavior that would have bled into his on court antics, basically everything we saw on the lakers would have happened alot sooner without jordan and phils ability to manage him because he became alot more wild in the year or two before leaving Detroit.

Worthy played the first 4 games and averaged 41 minutes per game. The Bulls were beating their ass already at that point. And Divac actually had better numbers than Kareem had in the last title the Lakers won with him. Divac averaged 18.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in the 1991 Finals Kareem averaged 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game in the 1989 Finals Magic? He was 2nd in MVP voting the year MJ beat him and was the league MVP just the year before. He was only 31. His stat line in 1990-91: 19.4 / 12.5 / 7.0 His career stat line: 19.5 / 11.2 / 7.2 Lastly... Bulls were STILL winning chips in the late 90s with: Jordan at 35 and Harper at 34 Pippen and Kerr at 32 RODMAN at 36 98 Bulls were the oldest NBA champions in history.

People don't remember, Isiah Thomas had to calm his game down and suppress his individual scoring abilities to win championships, he could have averaged 30 but the Pistons would not have won titles -- he played chess and made sure the wealth was spread out throughout the team -- this is another reason why Mark Aguirre isn't in the HOF because he sacrificed his scoring stats to win titles while Adrian Dantley wanted his numbers. Vinnie Johnson sacrificed a great individual career to come off the bench and help the Pistons win titles when he was ahead of Joe Dumars, a rookie who started midway during the 1985-86 season....So that entire Pistons team from 1987-91 had guys who made sacrifices to win and be successful which is why they are legends today.

This was a very well done video. I do not like Jordan. I respect his greatness and certainly feel is one the most elite players of all time but doesn’t make me like him. It all comes down to the same thing 1. There is no GOAT. It is an individual achievement that you have to use team success, and team chemistry to justify. It’s not possible. 2. You can say that he could’ve still won without Pippen, Jackson, Rodman or the triangle offense but he didn’t and everyone discredits what if scenarios when it comes to every other play. 3. There are weak comparisons in this. Jordan and Dokic had nearly exact numbers and the reason for Jordans season being so much more unbelievable (according to this video, not my words) is that he averaged one more steal a game. That argument is a stretch by anyone’s definition. 4. The league is no better or worse talent wise than it was then. Just a different style of play. All the 90s guys that were named were great players for sure. Doesn’t mean they were all as athletic or well rounded. Jordan didn’t have to guard a center who could pop 3s like a guard. It’s just different now. Not better or worse. 5. Kareem, chamberlain, Russell all have every bit as good of a case. There is no definitive answer because it’s all argument.

He was literally DRAGGING those teams to the playoffs, but LeBron fans act like he's the ONLY player to have weak teams. Sad thing is NO ONE has played with MORE future Hall Of Famers as an All-Time Great than LeBron. Go figure 🤷🏾‍♂️
